Everything else is bought in. What you cannot buy is people who know their field better than anyone else. That is who we are looking for.
Who we are looking for
There is no code yet, and that is deliberate. Before building, we want to know whether the problem is real beyond the one company where we met it. We are looking for co-founders, not employees.
Technical co-founder
ERP core, in-house language model, security. You have built systems that get audited.
Quality and compliance expert
NATO AQAP, ISO 9001, auditable process. You know the difference between compliance on paper and compliance for real.
Sales into regulated sectors
Defence, rescue, medical, energy. You know how decisions are made there and how long they take.
If your field is missing here but you are the best in it that you know, write anyway.
Separately, we are looking for two or three companies willing to think along as the first pilots.
The company model
Everything that can be bought is bought: infrastructure, accounting, legal, design, marketing, even part of the development. In-house we keep only what makes Taip Taip: knowledge of the field, the customer's trust and the decisions. That part is you.
Where it came from
The idea was born in an Estonian manufacturer that sells to rescue and defence forces around the world and has to meet NATO and EU requirements. The company's knowledge lived in the CEO's head and in Excel. Every department's step went through the boss. Cloud AI was off the table, because the data cannot leave the building. We looked at it and it clicked: this is not one company's problem.
The problem
The knowledge is in a person, not in a system. When the boss is away, the company stops.
Every department works in its own spreadsheet. The same data is entered three times and no two versions agree.
Cloud AI is off the table. So the biggest productivity leap goes unused exactly where it is needed most.
Who it is for
Companies where the bar is high and the data cannot leave the building: defence and rescue equipment, medical devices, energy. Their own production, audits as everyday life. We start in the Baltics, then the European Union.
What Taip is
Taip is an ERP built from the ground up around that constraint.
An in-house language model on the company's own servers. The data never leaves.
Classification on every record and a full audit trail in the core, not as an add-on module.
Data is entered once and moves between departments by itself.
Each manager gets a desk with their own permissions. The AI prepares decisions and the day's plan.
The human is the pilot. The AI is the assistant. A built-in second pilot has the duty to doubt.
Why not Dynamics 365, Katana or Erply? Good systems, but cloud-first and built for retail and small manufacturers. Compliance and AI come as add-ons. We want the data in-house and the audit trail in the core. If an existing system gets there faster, we build on it. That is part of the validation.
The name comes from the Estonian word taipamine: the moment it clicks. In Lithuanian, taip means "yes".
